The well-received, awkwardly-titled zombie flick AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION has been picked up by DIMENSION Films, which will release it on September 25.
The first in a planned trilogy, AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION tells the story of a secret military experiment to use zombies as soldiers (solid idea) that goes awry in a remote Florida town. Some local high-schoolers try to do what the army can’t. Bust zombie ass!
I’ve been hearing about AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION for quite a while now, always positive words, but have yet to pin down someone who has actually seen the bloody thing. Supposedly it had a budget of about 30 grand, but looks much more impressive (check out the gnarly effect below!).
