If you hadn’t noticed, rabid fan-boys and Sci-Fi disciples were up in arms over the first teaser trailer for the long awaited James Cameron film AVATAR. Don’t believe me, check out this effed-up reaction right here.
Hopefully you got a laugh out of your system there, because now we have some pretty sweet news regarding Cameron’s sprawling new virtual world. We have a fresh international trailer for the damn thing!
Focusing much more on the live action and human element of the story is a nice move. It grounds the thing much greater in reality and isn’t oversaturated by the artificial world of Pandora and the Na’vi. When you see Giovanni Ribisi as an oily business tycoon looking to mine what looks akin to blood diamonds in the exotic land, an instant sympathy is culled for the natives. Hopefully, there’s more of that kind of shite in the flick.

In the future, when a paraplegic war veteran is brought to another planet called Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na’vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture.
