Avengers: Endgame featurette explores the loss of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

After unleashing 32 new character posters for AVENGERS: ENDGAME, Marvel has unveiled a new featurette for the upcoming action blockbuster that explores the loss of some of Earth's Mightiest Heroes as well as the grim circumstances of life after The Snap. Thankfully, just like the bits of promotional material released for Endgame thus far, this new video all but avoids venturing into spoiler territory entirely.

When last we left the Avengers, the group had been defeated by the Mad Titan, Thanos. Be that as it may, the featurette takes a hard look at loss, and what it's like to be a hero who feels as if they've failed the world. Then again, I suppose that losing half of the known population will do that to you, especially when limited communication makes it difficult to decipher who's still kickin'. With the team fractured and all hope presumably lost, it will take every ounce of courage the Avengers and their compatriots have left to rise above a seemingly impossible situation. Fortunately for the good guys, they're about to be visited by one hell of a heavy hitter in Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, who in her first solo film demonstrated beyond the shadow of a doubt that she's capable of helping to give Thanos what for.

In other words, it's about to be #@&%*+! game time, True Believers!

AVENGERS: ENDGAME, starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Sean Gunn, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Katherine Langford, Josh Brolin, the kitchen sink, the kitchen sink's significant other, and a raft of other heroes and villains will in theaters on April 26th.
