The ALIENS VS PREDATOR: REQUIEM media train just keeps rolling with only 2 short weeks away from release. In the past 24 hours we’ve told you about a load of new stills and
showed you
the first 5 minutes of the flick.
Well now there’s word from The Strause Brothers themselves that there might… MIGHT be another sequel in the franchise.
AITH’s own JIMMY O recently visited Hydraulx FX studio where Greg and Colin
Strause are putting the finishing touches on ALIENS VS. PREDATOR: REQUIEM and
scored an interview with the directing duo about the much anticipated flick,
where they mentioned the potential sequel.
Colin Strause said, “It sounds like they’re (Fox)
definitely invested in another AVP film.”. “The way we kind of end this, we are
kind of done here (on Earth) so the next one may be before ALIEN but definitely
kind of needs to be more of a space epic.” ” The next ones got to be in space.”
Of course another sequel banks on the success of ALIENS VS PREDATOR: REQUIEM this holiday. And if the buzz is any indication, this one will
warrant several sequels, not just one. Keep checking AITH for our AVP-R edit
room report and interviews with both the Strause Brothers.
