AVP-R at LA CON

I know there were many disappointed fans who attended this past year’s San Diego Comic Con, as 20th Century Fox didn’t pimp out ALIEN VS PREDATOR – REQUIEM to the extent that they wanted. Actually, it wasn’t pimped out at all. For a movie hoping to make it big on Christmas Day, that was a pretty ballsy (re: lame) move on their part, but it looks like they’re pulling a last minute punch to redeem themselves.

On November 4th (that’s a Sunday), the AVP-R directing duo Greg and Colin Strause will be attending The Los Angeles Comic Book and SciFi Convention, where they will be pimping out AVP-R like no one has ever seen! That’s right, beginning at 1pm, the Brother Strause will be in attendance to screen special film clips, discuss the making of the film, and take questions, as well as give away some sweet AVP-R swag, and even sign an autograph or two.

While the LA Comic Con is minute in comparison to it’s superior cousin in San Diego, it’s still pretty awesome that the film is getting some pre-release love… it’s a crying shame I won’t be able to attend, though. If anyone wants to fly me down there for it, just let me know!
