There’s some new marketing fodder for AVP-R today, so I thought I’d point you in a couple of directions, to you’re your AVP-R groove on… which should only hold you over for a day or so, but hey… it’s better than nothing!
First up is over at Alien Experience, as they had a chance to chat it up with AVP-R composer Brian Tyler. They discuss a number of issues, mainly where the new score is coming from, and what Tyler’s plans for merging the two franchises themes together. Tyler was also behind the music for BUBBA HO-TEP, CONTSTANTINE, and the upcoming RAMBO movie. Next up is an interview with director’s The Brother’s Strause (Colin & Greg) over at IESB. Conducted at Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention a few weeks ago, the brothers discuss all sorts of fun stuff regarding the film, including how they got involved the project, their inspirations for making it, and who they liked better – the Aliens or the Predators. And finally, over at FilmzRu, you can check out the brand new international poster for AVP-R (as seen above), featuring an alien, a predator… and people. People! The one element all previous posters have left out, the damn people! Nice addition, though I’ll admit that I prefer the simpler people-less posters we’ve seen thus far.
