Props to Pete over at The Alien Experience for hitting us up with some interesting news items from the set of ALIEN VS PREDATOR 2. First up is the big news that an actual Xenomorph suit has been stolen from the set! Apparently, the thief is now trying to unload said suit online to the highest bidder.
Pete, in fact, did see one of the suits, which he says is a throwback to James Cameron’s design from ALIENS, complete with the ridged head! No more of this crap from ALIEN: RESURRECTION or the original ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, it’s back to the Giger (well, something like Giger’s design). The Predator suits have also been given a redesign, so here’s hoping we’ve seen the last of the doe-eyed Predators Paul Anderson stuck us with.
The other news concerns six new on-set images that Pete has kindly posted here. Unfortunately, no shots of either alien are available yet, so for those dudes in Vancouver, keep your eyes peeled.
