UPDATED: New embed added for the clip. See below!

We’ve seen a few clips from IRON MAN 3 so far, but nothing that displays any real action. And, that’s fine, really, as the trailers haven’t disappointed in that category, but now we have our first onscreen action sequence clip taken from the Mandarin’s helicopter attack on Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey, Jr.) mansion. It’s a fine display of Stark’s ingenuity when not utilizing some amazing tech, but quick instincts. It appears that piano’s are not so lucky in the Stark household, depending on how you look at it.

Get in on the action:

I have little doubt that director Shane Black‘s “action instincts” will be on display in IRON MAN 3 and it’s one of the biggest selling points for me. His bombastic stunts and well-choreographed action scenes from THE LAST BOY SCOUT, LETHAL WEAPON, and THE LONG KISS GOODNIGHT are amongst some of my favorites from the genre and I look forward to seeing how he injects them into the superhero universe.

IRON MAN 3, starring Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, Jon Favreau, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, and William Sadler starts kicking serious ass on May 3, 2013.
