As we told you a while back, the long-swimming Aussie shark thriller BAIT 3D will be hitting theaters on SEPTEMBER 9th, courtesy of Anchor Bay and Tugg.com (you can request a screening in your town right HERE). Now it turns out the home video debut won’t be far behind.
Anchor bay announced today that BAIT will swim to Blu-ray and DVD on SEPTEMBER 18th of this year. So if you’re not able to nab this fish theatrically, you’ll certainly able to filet it a mere nine days later in the comfort of your own tank. (Yeah, that was all lame, I don’t care.)
When a monstrous freak tsunami hits a sleepy beach community, a group of survivors from different walks of life find themselves trapped inside a submerged grocery store. As they try to escape to safety, they soon discover that there is a predator among them more deadly than the threat of drowning—vicious great white sharks lurking in the water, starved hungry for fresh meat.
As the bloodthirsty sharks begin to pick the survivors off one by one, the group realizes that they must work together to find a way out without being eaten alive.
