Mischa Barton Mischa Barton will be exploring her lesbian side in the upcoming romantic drama FINDING T.A.T.U. The film, which is based on the novel “t.A.T.u. Come Back” by Russian writer Aleksey Mitrofanov, which is itself based on a true story, centers on young American girl Janie Sawyer (played by Danielle Panabaker) and Russian native Lana Starkova (Barton) whose shared passion for faux-lesbian pop duo t.A.T.u. ignites a torrid love affair that, of course, results in tears and bloodshed. Roland Joffe will direct with shooting expected to begin next month. Barton can next be seen in director Richard Attenborough’s romantic drama CLOSING THE RING, the drama DON’T FADE AWAY, the teen comedy ST. TRINIAN’S and yet another re-imagining of the classic fairy tale “Alice in Wonderland”, MALICE IN SUNDERLAND.
