Basic Trailer

I don’t know why we really care about BASIC INSTINCT 2- I mean, it’s a shit sequel to a movie that came out 14 years ago (!), starring a washed-up slutty actress and a bunch of nobodies. Then I think of all the gratuitous sex, nudity and violence that’s involved, and I remember- it’s a guilty pleasure at it’s finest!


A few weeks ago we got a nice glimpse of all the nude Sharon Stone shots from the flick, and while it was great for eye candy, it didn’t shed a tear of light about what the movie was all about.


Today, Apple.com has the TRAILER on display today, and in it you will find.. that BASIC INSTINCT 2 (which apparently dropped the RISK ADDICTION subtitle) is exactly what you thought it would be- a bad, straight to DVD, soft core murder mystery, along the lines of THE RED SHOE DIARIES or some shit like that. And yet, it’s getting the theater treatment- go figure!


I’m feeling a little psychic here, and I’m seeing a bomb… blowing up… all over the country… when BASIC INSTINCT 2 hits theaters March 31st. I think I’m seeing one of the biggest bombs in history. But won’t it be fun to watch it burn? And we get to see Stone naked to boot!
