Here’s an update for you genre fans headed to San Diego later in the month for that crazy convention known as Comic-Con. It has just been revealed that A&E’s “Bates Motel” will be setting up shop there on Friday, July 25. The panel will run from 3:30p -4:30p, and in attendance will be stars Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Olivia Cooke and Nestor Carbonell. Also appearing are showrunners Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin.

At the moment it doesn’t seem as though brother Dylan, Max Thieriot, will be showing up. Sorry ladies.

“Bates Motel” from Universal Television, serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho giving viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years. Fans have access to the dark, twisted backstory of Norman Bates and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is.

Season three of “Bates Motel” is slated to air early 2015. It’s probably too early to hope the team will have any footage to share, but there should certainly be some juicy announcements at the very least. We will keep you posted.
