Box Office Update: the top spot battle between Clayface and You Can See Everything is too close to call

Last Updated on November 2, 2026

Halloween weekend is always notoriously slow as far as the box office goes, but the frame is proving to be sleepier than we predicted earlier this week, with it possible that neither You Can See Everything nor DC’s Clayface will top $10 million. In fact, the box office battle is currently too close to call, although Deadline is giving Nathan Fielder’s You Can See Everything the edge, predicting a possible $11 million finish compared to Clayface’s $10 million. That’s an excellent result for A24’s zeitgeist-grabbing documentary, with it currently running at $63 million. As for Clayface, the film is likely going to finish the weekend at just under $44 million, which is modest for a film associated with the DC universe—although the budget is so low it should turn a profit.

Third place seems likely to go to Laika’s Wildwood, which is experiencing a 44% drop to come in at around $6.8 million, for a running cume in the $25 million range. That’s not great for such an expensive film, although given that it was bankrolled by the Knight family, who are worth billions, it seems this was more about the art than any final box office tally. Whatever the case, the film is earning raves, with many, including our own critic, calling it a masterpiece.

Wicker, which was a surprise hit last weekend, seems likely to finish in fourth place, only easing 36% to $3.5 million and a $12.7 million gross. The top five will be rounded out by Paramount’s disappointing Street Fighter, which is looking at $3.3 million for a total $53 million gross as it starts to burn off theaters.

Don’t expect any box office miracles by tomorrow, with it likely that audiences will either be taking their kids out trick-or-treating, going to Halloween parties, or taking in a vintage horror rep screening, with The Rocky Horror Picture Showscreenings happening all over.
