Last week, io9 got their hands on a few explosive photos from the Louisiana set of BATTLE: LOS ANGELES – see them HERE. They must have the hook-up, because now they have our first look at Aaron Eckhart rocking some military gear. Eckhart plays the commander of an elite unit of soldiers who run up against some killer alien invaders in L.A.

We’ve got a while to wait for this sucker to come out, but obviously we’re going to start seeing more as the year progresses. Do we get a trailer before Comic-Con?
