I know there are several fans out there of Ms. Sackhoff, otherwise known as Starbuck from BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. If anyone deserves a spot in the lady EXPENDABLES, it’s her.
Sackhoff will join Gina Carano in the film, which Adi Shankar will produce for 1984 Private Defense Contractors, who plan to fully finance the project. Dutch Southern was set a couple of months ago to write the project. This caught the attention of many female action stars who are now currently circling. Who are those lady stars? Sadly, we are in the dark on that detail as of this moment.
Shankar, who recently co-produced THE GREY, DREDD 3D, and KILLING THEM SOFTLY said this of casting Sackhoff, “If you spend five minutes with Katee it becomes blatantly obvious that she would pwn (sic) most male action stars.”
Sackhoff was most recently seen in A&E’s LONGMIRE, and will also have a role in Vin Diesel’s next untitled Riddick film.
