Directed by Robert Hall, the flick tells the story of a guy trying to make it big in the world of horror movie special effects. Chaos and all around wierd shit ensues. You can check out The Arrow’s Review for the film, and from the sounds of it, it’s THIS BOYS LIFE for horror fans! Definately sounds like a good time all around.
Now, the flick’s getting a makeover for the DVD release, with a few characters not making it the final cut. For example, the crazy Uncle Marvin, played by Don Gibb, has been completely cut out of the movie altogether. Is this a good thing?
Our very own Arrow thought the character was entertaining as per usual but I didn’t “capish” the purpose of his role in the flick. So hey, maybe this cut is a great thing!
Not sure yet on the exact date of the DVD release, but stay tuned here as we find out!
