The Rock has found somebody to love for BAYWATCH.
Taking to his Instagram account to make the announcement, Dwayne Johnson made the reveal that Ilfenesh Hadera has landed the role of Stef, who will be positioned in the film as his character’s love interest. No other details were given as to the nature of who Stef is, but, given the comedic approach being taken with the BAYWATCH big-screen adaptation, you get the feeling a certain Johnson is going to be embarrassed in front of her on at least one occasion.
Hadera had recently been a part of HBO’s ensemble for the SHOW ME A HERO miniseries, and is a veteran of Spike Lee, having made appearances in both CHI-RAQ and his version of OLDBOY.
BAYWATCH steps into the water now on May 19, 2017.
