The website for BE KIND REWIND has bounced onto the internet and it is pretty much exactly what you would expect from Michel Gondry, in that it’s a bunch of stuff broken down into a child like form and then danced across the page. It’s pretty cute though, and I don’t really want to go that much into the thing, save for to tell you that there are all the regular things you’d want, like trailers and various downloads. Go hit that up over HERE. The film stars Jack Black as a dude whose brain becomes magnetized, unintentionally destroying all the tapes in his buddy (Mos Def)’s video store. In order to satisfy the store’s most loyal customer, the fellas decide to remake a ton of movies, from ROBOCOP to DRIVING MISS DAISY. There’s a lot to like about this thing, Jack Black is great, The Mighty Mos Def has proven himself a capable actor, and Gondry made ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND. Anyway, go check out the website and ‘swede’ yourself. That’s right, ‘swede’. It’s a word. Apparently.
