Behr gets Tattoo

Tattoos: you either love them or hate them, or you like them on other people but would never get one yourself. Those that have them can sometimes find them addicting, as while it’s painful as hell, it’s also pretty sweet. I have 2, and want about 6 more. We’ll see how that goes. Today Variety is reporting that the thriller TATTOOIST starts filming next month in New Zealand, with Jason Behr in the starring role!


Behr, who did a bang up job as the boyfriend in THE GRUDGE, stars as a tattoo artist who becomes fascinated by the Samoan tatau tradition, but his desire to learn the ancient skill brings him into conflict and danger with the island mysticism and a deadly spirit is released as a result.


Just what kind of spirit? I guess we’ll just have to wait for that. Remember in THE RAGE: CARRIE 2 when the ‘new’ Carrie went all telekinetic and her vine tattoo grew all the way around her body before she went on a killing spree and slaughter kids with flying CDs? That was pretty cool.
