Believer site now online

As far as direct to DVD flicks go, BELIEVERS
is one that I’ve got some high hopes for, and now that the
official site
is up, as well as their
MySpace
page I’m thinking that a lot of you may
want to get onboard with this one too.

Now the film is directed by the man who was
behind the camera during
THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
; Daniel Myrick.
The story follows two paramedics who respond to a call of
a young girl out in the middle of nowhere. When they arrive they find the girl,
who ramble’s on about a cult that her and her unconscious mother are escaping
from. The paramedics think nothing of it until a van comes by, taking not only
the girl and her mother, but the paramedics as well
.

Judging from Myrick’s past performance with
psychological terror, I’m guessing that BELIEVERS will be no different and just
as creepy. There’s something about the fact that crazy ass cults actually exist
that make this seem like it would be a cool one to rock out on DVD. To find out
more about Myrick’s latest, check out the official site
here
and the MySpace page
here
