Last May, Variety reported on a Jan de Bont produced, Stoker Estate approved sequel to Bram Stoker’s original “Dracula” novel titled THE UN-DEAD. In the almost year since, the film has apparently landed a director and two noteworthy stars. According to BlackFilm, JUICE director Ernest Dickerson will be helming the film with Javier Bardem being tapped to play the legendary undead vampire and JoBlo.com eternal crush Monica Bellucci playing Lucy. With a script by Ian Holt, the story takes place twenty-five years after the events of the original novel with all characters from said novel, including Jonathan and Mina Harker, Professor Van Helsing and axed original character Inspector Cotford, returning to try to once again put the all-powerful bloodsucker away for good.
