As far as I can tell, not many people know altogether that much about the movie BEOWULF. The flick is directed by Robert Zemeckis (THE POLAR EXPRESS) and written by a real weird tag-team of Roger Avary (PULP FICTION) and Neil Gaiman (MIRRORMASK), so yeah, maybe limited publicity makes sense. Oh but wait a minute there, what’s this? Why, it appears to be a phenomenal ass!
Apparently, Ubisoft are making a video game for the Playstation 3, adapted from the film and a whole bunch of conceptual art has appeared. That’s really all you need to know about that. The film on the other hand features a pretty spectacular cast, with a moderately attractive young woman named Angelina Jolie (Grendel’s mother), some-time actor Anthony Hopkins, some-time psychopath John Malkovich, Ray Winstone as Beowulf and Crispin Glover as the villain Grendel.
