Best Movie & TV Trailers of the Week! Hobbs & Shaw, Birds of Prey, Hanna

Hello and welcome to the best movie and TV trailers of the week!

This week brought us the very first trailer for the FAST AND THE FURIOUS spinoff, FAST AND THE FURIOUS PRESENTS: HOBBS & SHAW, and even as someone who's not the biggest fan in the world of the franchise, I have to say, I'm pretty intrigued. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are two of the biggest action stars in the world, and watching them reluctantly team up to take down Idris Elba's villanious Brixton is admittedly pretty exciting. These guys are jumping out of buildings, blowing up cars, getting caught up in gun fights, and they do it all without seemingly breaking a sweat. But hey, if they wanted to sweat a little and make those muscles glisten, I wouldn't be mad about it.

We were also blessed with our first footage from Cathy Yan's upcoming BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF HARLEY QUINN), which is not only a mouthful, but a very promising look at what the future holds for Margot Robbie's iconic comic book queen.

A DOG'S JOURNEY is here to break your heart, TOY STORY 4 peeps the return of a familiar beloved character, and APOLLO 11 seeks to share some brand new, never-before-seen 70mm footage of the historical mission, right on the heels of FIRST MAN's Oscar nominations. There's also a trailer for the gorgeous looking BIGGEST LITTLE FARM, as well as an intriguing spot for A VIGILANTE.

Next up, we have TV trailers! This week we have new looks at BARRY season 2, ABBY'S, RUSSIAN DOLL, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6, AMERICAN GODS sesaon 2, SEX EDUCATION season 2, and perhaps most importantly, HANNA.

There was a lot of great material to pull from this week, but the award for best trailer goes to the little first look at the upcoming BIRDS OF PREY, which, in my humble opinion, is only getting more and more exciting. It may not be much, but I can already tell I'm going to be more on board with Yan's version of Harley Quinn than David Ayer's. The female gaze is strong with this one, and I am here for it.
