Better Watch Out director’s next horror movie Limbo coming soon

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

One of the most entertaining horror flicks out there is director Chris Peckover's BETTER WATCH OUT. I enjoyed the hell out of the movie and I know more than a few people who call it one of their favorites. And it's with this in mind we're excited to pass along word that Peckover's new fright flick LIMBO has just been given the green light by Miramax, Barnyard Projects and Snoot Entertainment.

Peckover will direct this new horror thriller from a screenplay he co-wrote along with Matthew Jennison. It tells the terrifying story of

a young mother whose body becomes possessed by something evil, rendering her a disembodied spirt and a ghost in her own house. As this demonic double takes over her life and threatens to harm her family, she must find a way to protect her loved ones while also finding a way back to her body before it’s too late.

Miramax’s Bill Block says:

We are witnessing a renaissance of quality horror films at the moment. It’s a genre that continues to captivate global audiences. Having a smart script with a big idea and some fierce partners in Tim Palen, Snoot Entertainment and a fresh voice in Chris Peckover – LIMBO is something we’re really excited about.

Former Lionsgate CMO Tim Palen will be producing LIMBO under his Barnyard Projects banner along with Keith Calder and Jess Wu Calder of Snoot Entertainment. Chris Harding will serve as a Co-Producer for Snoot Entertainment. Miramax is financing. Production begins in January.
