Big Mouth spin-off Human Resources gets a trailer overrun with hormone monsters

Grab your tastiest lube, unlock the spank bank, and get ready to unleash your carnal desires because Netflix’s Human Resources trailer is here! The Big Mouth spin-off is a workplace animated comedy that features a star-studded voice cast that’s bound to get you hot and bothered.

Human Resources takes place in the supernatural homeworld of Big Mouth hormone monsters, Maurice and Connie, voiced by Nick Kroll and Maya Rudolph. With shame wizards, depression kitties, and several other species running rampant throughout the land, these creatures of instinctual habits guide humanity through the various stages of life from puberty to childbirth and into our autumn years.

As you can see, the spinoff will include plenty of familiar faces from Big Mouth, including Maury the Hormone Monster (Nick Kroll), Connie the Hormone Monstress (Maya Rudolph), Emmy the Lovebug (Aidy Bryant), Pete the Logic Rock (Randall Park), Rochelle the Lovebug (Keke Palmer), Walter the Lovebug (Brandon Kyle Goodman), The Shame Wizard (David Thewlis), Sonya the Lovebug (Pamela Adlon), Mona the Hormone Monstress (Thandiwe Newton), Simon Sex (Jemaine Clement), Tito the Anxiety Mosquito (Maria Bamford), and Gavin the Hormone Monster (Bobby Cannavale). There will also be several new creatures joining those we’ve already met, such as Petra the Ambition Gremlin (Rosie Perez) and Keith From Grief (Henry Winkler).

Also joining Netflix’s Big Mouth spin-off are Lupita Nyong’o and Dame Helen Mirren as two overachieving shame wizards – and Hugh Jackman, who voices Dante, a seductive addiction angel equipped with three penises. Whoa! Add that to your reasons for having wet dreams, ladies and gentlemen.

Here’s the official synopsis for Human Resources:

“From the inventive minds that brought us the award-winning adult animation favorite Big Mouth comes the even edgier and adult-ier Human Resources. The spin-off pulls back the curtain on the daily lives of the creatures – Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards, and many more – that help humans journey through every aspect of life from puberty to parenthood to the twilight years. It quickly becomes clear that though the protagonists are creatures, they have a lot of humanity themselves.”

“This is a show about big feelings,” said Human Resources showrunner Kelly Galuska in an interview with Vanity Fair “And the fact that we all have them all the time, and it unites us as human beings.”

As a major fan of Big Mouth, I am very excited to check Human Resources out when it splooges onto Netflix on March 18, 2022. Are you looking forward to this Big Mouth spin-off? Let us know in the comments section below.
