Will Smith isn’t done playing real-life figures who bring themselves back from the brink of despair to become multi-millionaires who later decide to document their inspirational story in a best-selling memoir. Columbia, having acquired the rights to “Cooked: From the Streets to the Stove, From Cocaine to Foie Gras”, Jeff Henderson’s tear-jerking journey from prominent cocaine dealer to prison inmate to executive chef at Café Bellagio in Las Vegas, are looking to Smith and his Overbrook Entertainment to produce. Smith is reportedly also interested in starring after realizing stories based on the triumphant redemption of a good but down-on-his-luck regular joe score Oscar nominations like Tom Hanks in the early 90s. In the meantime, however, Smith will be kicking vampire ass in the upcoming thriller I AM LEGEND.
