Mikrotone Entertainment are preprating a new independent horror flick entitled THEATRE OF THE DEVIL. Genre favorites Bill Moseley (above, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS) and Danielle Harris (below, HALLOWEEN) have signed on to star in the film.

Moseley will play Xanthus, a deranged illusionist who seeks a vessel to bring his long lost love back from the grave. Xanthus lives alone in the Theatre he owns developing magic acts based on the macabre and the grotesque.

He meets Diana (Harris), an embittered housewife, who formulates a plan and kills her husband for his money, leaving her boy-toy to take the fall. However, when the police get on her trail, she flees, unafraid to use any means necessary to stay beyond the reach of the law. When she meets Xanthus, she thinks she’s found her next pawn, but she’s stumbled into a trap decades in the making.

Moseley is also serving as producer on the project, which is currently seeking funding. Lou Martini Jr. and Jimmy Noonan are among the cast as well. Jourdan McClure will direct off a script by Frank G. Lawrence. Pre-production officially begins next month for a 2012 release.
