Bill not in GB3 yet

Seems like every few weeks, we’ve got someone chatting up GHOSTBUSTERS 3 – be it Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ivan Reitman, etc – but the consensus is always that it’s almost certainly getting made. But in an interview with Bill Murray at the FANTASTIC MR. FOX premiere, the wry former Garfield squashes the notion that it’s even close to happening.

“I’ll believe it when I see it… I’m not going to believe the GHOSTBUSTERS story until I see the script… I don’t want to do it yet, there’s still no script. It’s just a bunch of talk. It’s just a wish-list for someone.”

Naturally, he doesn’t rule out participating in the long-awaited sequel, but you can tell that he’s either A) Sick of talking about it, or B) Sincerely dubious that it will ever happen. Of course, it very well could be both. (It’s been over a year since “The Office” producers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg were hired to pen the screenplay.) Watch the interview with Bill below.
