Black Mirror season 5 coming this Christmas?

Last Christmas we were graciously hit with the fourth season of Netflix's killer sci-fi-horror anthology series BLACK MIRROR. I loved the season up and down with new masterpiece episodes including Jodie Foster's "Arkangel", John Hillcoat's “Crocodile”, Colm McCarthy's “Black Museum”, Tim Van Patten's “Hang the DJ”, David Slade's "Metalhead" and especially Toby Haynes “U.S.S. Callister”. Check out their trailers right HERE.

Well, it turns out that someone linked to an official Netflix Twitter account accidentally spilled the beans taking to the site and posting a pic that confirms that there is a BLACK MIRROR episode called "Bandersnatch" heading our way this December. Go figure the post has since been deleted. But all the same, you can go ahead and check out a pic of the tweet below (before someone makes us take it down? Moo-Haha.)

This is all somewhat slight news in the face of the fact that we all already knew that Netflix has announced that Black Mirror has been renewed for a fifth season, but still. Who expected it to be unleashed upon the masses THIS Christmas?! Hopefully, this happens. It will make my year.

Created and written by Charlie Brooker, who executive produces with Annabel Jones, the series follows this synopsis:

Featuring stand-alone dramas — sharp, suspenseful, satirical tales that explore techno-paranoia — "Black Mirror" is a contemporary reworking of "The Twilight Zone" with stories that tap into the collective unease about the modern world. Each story features its own cast of unique characters, including stars like Bryce Dallas Howard ("The Help"), Alice Eve, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tom Cullen and Jerome Flynn ("Game of Thrones"). Joe Wright, Dan Trachtenberg, and James Watkins are among the featured directors.

If all of this can be believed, then make sure to mark your calendars as it would appear that Black Mirror: Bandersnatch will air on Netflix on December 28th. BLACK MIRROR S4 is now streaming on Netflix.
