Black Mirror will return with 12 new episodes on Netflix

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Created and written by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror taps into our collective unease with the modern world and each stand-alone episode is a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st Century existence back at us. Netflix has picked up 12 new episodes and you can check out a teaser below!

Black Mirror has some phenomenally disturbing episodes to its name, and the fact that Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones, who executive produced the first seven episodes of the series, will continue to serve as executive producers and showrunners for the new episodes, is fantastic. Fans of shows like The Twilight Zone or Outer Limits owe it to themselves to give Black Mirror a watch.

Production on the new episodes of Black Mirror will begin later this year.
