February 22nd will see BLACK WATER (written
and directed by Andrew Traucki and David Nerlich) slither onto DVD shelves (get
it here). The flick follows in the underrated ROGUE’S
pawsteps as another Aussie flick having to do with a Croc munching down on peeps
in Australia (although this one is based on a true story).
Hey at least the beastie is not CGI!
Here’s the Synopsis: Grace (Diana Glenn), her
boyfriend Adam (Andy Rodoreda) and younger sister Lee decide to take a river
tour whilst holidaying in Northern Australia. As they drift into a mangrove
swamp their boat is suddenly capsized and Jim, their guide, disappears. Realizing
they’ve been attacked by a crocodile, they manage to climb to safety up a tree.
Stranded in the flooded mangrove swamp with a hungry croc below, how will they
make it out alive?
