The wild success of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD is nice to see, and refreshing too, as it appears that vampires that actually suck blood and fornicate are as popular (or at least getting there) as vampires who don’t bite and glitter in the sun.
According to The Hollywood Reporter blond hottie Lauren Bowles has scored a recurring role on the series, debuting this season as Holly, a mother of two who applies for job at Merlotte’s and creeps out Arlene (Carrie Preston) with her oddly prescient observations.
The role is set up for a minimum of 5 episodes this season, with an option to continue the role more regularly in the series’ fourth season. You may remember Bowles from TV shows like CSI, ER, and COLD CASE, and on the big screen in such classic films as THE HEARTBREAK KID, DANCE FLICK and GHOST WORLD.
Should be nice to see her coming back for more blood in TRUE BLOOD for the remainder of the season.
