I just can’t help wanting to post up info on the indie slasher BLOOD NIGHT: THE LEGEND OF MARY HATCHET whenever I get the chance. It’s just my kind of horror movie. I last reported on the flick here and gave you the trailer here. And now, here come the pics—a shitload to be exact!
The new stills come courtesy of STYD and feature a fair share of creepy (half-naked) chicks, teens partying, teens looking concerned, and teens scared shitless. I’ve got one above and some below. You can check out the rest by clicking here.
BLOOD NIGHT was written and directed by Frank Sabatella (a true fan of our genre) and promises to boast blood and boobs by the bucketful! I don’t see how a horror fan could go wrong. Take a peak at the urban-legend-inspired plot:
A group of teenagers celebrating the anniversary of the death of a local axe murderer suddenly find themselves face to face with the realities of this haunting local legend.
NIGHT also stars two legends of the genre: Bill Moseley (DEVIL’S REJECTS, THE ALPHABET KILLER, BABYSITTER WANTED) and Danielle Harris (HALLOWEEN 4 & 5, ROB ZOMBIE’S HALLOWEEN, URBAN LEGEND). What more do you want? How about a release date? Well, as for now, it’s just listed as coming out in 2008. The instant I know when, I will definitely post it.
