Yikes! That’s the only reasonable reaction to seeing Michael Bailey Smith (from the HILLS HAVE EYES remake) as some kind of demented Nosferatu in the horror/comedy BLOOD SHOT. In the film, Smith plays a vampire who teams up with a cop to take down a Saudi Arabian terrorist (Brad Dourif). Shit, I’m game!
Below see a pic of Dourif as the terrorist, courtesy of Fangoria. From the little we know about it, this movie appears to be seriously f*cked up, and it’s apparently just the first in a planned trilogy! Well, not enough “vampires vs. evil Arabs” franchises out there, if you ask me.
BLOOD SHOT was directed by Dietrich Johnson (based on his own award-winning short film) and also stars Lance Henrikson and Brennan Elliot (“THE 4400”).
