Bloody new images from SAW II: Flesh and Blood hit

A few weeks back we told you all about SAW II: FLESH AND BLOOD, which has the voice talents of Tobin Bell at work, bringing the ferocity of the film series to game consoles everywhere (check that shit out HERE).

Produced by Konami, the folks over at G4 scored some new images from FLESH AND BLOOD featured at this past week’s E3 convention, showing much gore and mayhem with glimpses at a few possible traps that should keep you busy for a while.

For those who really want to know, FLESH AND BLOOD goes a bit like this: SAW II: Flesh & Blood invites players back into Jigsaw’s twisted world in an entirely new storyline that takes place between the first and second film. This time around players are put in the shoes of Detective Tapp’s estranged son, Michael, who has been captured by Jigsaw after betraying his father. As the game evolves, players will face mind-bending puzzles as they navigate their way through Jigsaw’s terrifying world and defend themselves against his minions. And of course, players must survive a new collection of stomach-twisting traps such as “Elevator Music,” which chains victims to an elevator that will tear their bodies in half if they fail to solve three sets of puzzles before time runs out.

What’s awesome about this is that it’s essentially an original sequel to the whole Jigsaw universe, offering more than just a game version of the movie. Head over THIS WAY to check out the other new pics, and get ready for SAW II: FLESH AND BLOOD in stores everywhere sometime this Fall (I’m guessing around the time SAW VII 3D hits).

The great Shawnee Smith!
