There’s a trailer hopping around for this little known thriller called SHUTTLE, so we’ve thrown it up over in our videos section for you all to check out.
SHUTTLE’s synopsis reads: Best friends Mel and Jules arrive at an airport late one rainy night, returning home from a trip to Mexico. Mel is feeling sick and unsteady on her feet, giving smooth-talking Seth an opening to start flirting with the two young ladies, and forcing his traveling buddy Matt to tag along. The attractive foursome end up together on a shuttle mini-bus, along with a very nervous man in a business suit. The driver takes an odd detour through a bad neighborhood; when questioned, he insists he knows where he’s going. As the blocks of abandoned buildings roll by, the kids become agitated.
So on the surface it sounds like your run of the mill ‘group of people get abducted then tortured’ plot… but for some reason SHUTTLE seems more than that. Judge for yourself by checking out the trailer below, just click through to check it out.
That synopsis came from blog Fear Has No Cure, which also scored a look at the sweet one-sheet you can see above. Click the snippet above to check out the rest. I’m definitely digging the poster, and the trailer for that matter. SHUTTLE looks like it might run on the low-budget card but it’s got enough intrigue to have me interested.
SHUTTLE comes from writer/director Edward Anderson and stars Peyton List (below), Cameron Goodman, James Snyder, Dave Power, Cullen Douglas, and Tony Curran. No word on a release date yet so we’ll keep you updated.
