Finally, a look at the long-awaited BOG BODIES, which we haven’t really heard much about for a year). The Ireland-set film concerns a 2000-year-old murder victim’s body returning to life after it’s disturbed by a property developer. Check out the trailer, which isn’t too bad, below.
Apparently, a “bog body” is a real phenomena: a body that has retained skin and internal organs due to the unusual conditions of preservation of a “bog.” (Thanks, Wikipedia!) Of course, I’m sure that’s just a jumping off point for a horror movie most likely not very concerned with archaeology, and more interested in gruesome murder.
Directed by Brendan Foley, BOG BODIES stars Vinnie Jones, Jason Barry, Nora-Jane Noone, Adam Fogerty, and Gavin Kelty. No release date has been set yet.
