The last time we were updated with any new images from Uwe Boll’s upcoming masterpiece SEED, it was January… of 2007 (check those out HERE). Today we have a small update of pics (two to be exact) from the film, which is hitting DVD this September, and while one looks promising, the other other simply looks… boring.
I’ll let you guess as to which one looks cool and which one looks lame. As a refresher, SEED revolves around Sam Seed, an insane mass murderer, who is scheduled for execution at the hands of Warden Wright. Before the executioner throws the switch, Wright steps in front of Seed, “Do you have any last words?” Seed, ” I’ll see you again.” After three attempts to electrocute, complete with boiling blood that steeps from his eyes, he’s still alive. The executioner, Wright & the doctor collectively agree, that the breathing Seed be pronounced dead. He is bound and buried alive. After biting & clawing his way to the surface, Seed, the blood soaked, enraged madman, is now bent on vengeance. The reign of violence that follows will redefine the boundaries of extreme gore, physical & mental torture explored through cinema.
If this were released at the height of the torture porn popularity, this flick might actually have a pretty strong fanbase. Now? Seems a littlle ‘been there, done that,’ but who knows? Maybe it’ll find an audience on DVD.
