Bond 24 will start principal photography on December 6th, 2014

It seems that the Bond films are being approached with a little more care these days, as production on BOND 24 was delayed to give time for filmmaker Sam Mendes (SKYFALL, JARHEAD) to return. Mendes previously mentioned that a strong reason for his return is that he felt he left a lot of the stories established in SKYFALL “incomplete”, and that it felt like part 1 of a 2-part story. With casting currently underway, a principal photography date has been set and that is December 6th of this year.

Reportedly Sam Mendes will have a table read with the main cast in November that includes Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Ben Whishaw (Q), and Rory Kinnear (Tanner). Location shooting will take place in Austria, Rome, and possibly Morocco, with the ever popular Pinewood Studios being utilized for studio filming. I’ll miss cinematographer Roger Deakins for this outing, but I have the utmost faith Mendes will deliver!

BOND 24 is currently slated for a November 6, 2015 release.
