From the twisted musings of long venerated horror scribe Clive Barker comes yet another look at his BOOK OF BLOOD, this time in an altered DVD trailer for the flick.
Directed and co-scripted by John Harrison (TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE: THE MOVIE), BOOK OF BLOOD follows:
A psychic researcher, Mary Florescu, who employs medium Simon McNeal to investigate a haunted house. McNeal, at first, begins to fake his visions, but then real ghosts present themselves. They attack him and carve words in his flesh, and these words, claims the narrator, form the rest of the stories, stories written on a literal, living Book of Blood.
Pretty gnarly shit that premise, though I’ve yet to see the flick in full.
With Sophie Ward, Jonas Armstrong, Clive Russell, Paul Blair, Romana Abercromby, Doug Bradley, James Weston and Simon Bamford – BOOK OF BLOOD is currently available on DVD.
