Here’s something to look for in
those Boxing day sales; the release of Lionsgate’s
THE DESCENT. The gem that Lionsgate released earlier this year is
finally making it to DVD on December 26th and is coming with a ton of formats
and extras.
There will be 4 versions in all:
theatrical version, uncut version (both widescreen and full screen) and a
Blue-ray version. The uncut versions sport the all the extras including
deleted/extended scenes, commentaries with both director and cast and director,
making of featurette, and more. The Blue-ray version will also have a Picture &
Picture commentary with director and cast that will run with the movie. (Very
cool!)
For those of you who forget, the
movie revolves around several hot co-eds who go cave climbing in the Appalachian
mountains, only to be trapped and hunted by sub-surface creatures. To check out
