Brad Pitt suggests we could see more World War Z films

WORLD WAR Z hits theaters today and is expected to do pretty damn well at the box-office, so it's no surprise there is already talks of potential sequels. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, WORLD WAR Z star Brad Pitt seems pretty optimistic regarding the possibility of more films based on the Max Brooks novel of the same name, stating…

There is enough to mine from the book. We could barely get a fraction of the book in. So we'll see. We'll see."

I guess they'll let the box-office tallies do the talking.

The first film has had a difficult time throughout its production with reshoots, rewrites, budgetary issues and other problems plaguing its journey to the big screen, so if a sequel moves forward (which I'm sure we all expect will happen) I'm hoping the next film can avoid those issues.

WORLD WAR Z revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

WORLD WAR Z also stars Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale and David Morse. Be sure to check back in next week for The Arrow's review!
