Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is interested in serial killers

JoBloJoBlo

Bryan Cranston has come a long way from playing Jerry Seinfeld’s dentist and the one-armed colonel in SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.

Just after collecting his third Emmy for his riveting work as the “Breaking Bad” cancer-stricken meth-maker, the actor will shift his attention to murderers in the mystery-thriller THE GRIEF TOURIST.

The indie will be directed by Suri Krishnamma (A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE) and also features “Hey, it’s that guy” actor Michael Cudlitz, who you may know as that guy from all those movies and TV shows. The story was written by Cudlitz’s “Band of Brothers” co-star Frank John Hughes.

The synopsis: A disturbed and troubled soul, Jim Tahana, retraces the footsteps of serial killers who fascinate him as his hobby. His dark obsession with past killers soon becomes his reality and leads viewers on a menacing and horrific journey inside his twisted mind.

Cranston will also be seen with Ryan Gosling, Albert Brooks and Carey Mulligan  in the Nicolas Winding Refn-directed vehicular action film DRIVE.
