Breanne Hill and Jake Lacy will also face the monsters of Rampage

The SAN ANDREAS reunion being assembled for the kaiju video game adaptation RAMPAGE just added another member. SAN ANDREAS director Brad Peyton and producer Beau Flynn are re-teaming with the film's star Dwayne Johnson on RAMPAGE, and the initial screenplay by Ryan Engle recently received a rewrite from SAN ANDREAS screenwriter Carlton Cuse and his writing partner Ryan Condal. Now another cast member from the earthquake disaster movie has been added into the mix – Breanne Hill.

Hill didn't have a huge role in SAN ANDREAS, appearing as a waitress named Larissa at a high-rise restaurant, but she obviously made an impression on Peyton and Flynn, as they have decided to work with her again on their monster movie.

Actor Jake Lacy, who plays Lena Dunham's boyfriend on the TV series Girls, wasn't in SAN ANDREAS, but he has also signed on to take a role in RAMPAGE.

Johnson will be playing "an animal-loving hero who is the world's only hope" in the fight against

three creatures — a monstrously transformed gorilla, crocodile and wolf — who wreak havoc on North American cities and landmarks.

Also in the cast are Naomie Harris as a geneticist, Joe Manganiello as the leader of a private military group, and Marley Shelton as a scientist / astronaut.

Details on Hill and Lacy's characters were not revealed.

RAMPAGE is scheduled to reach theatres on April 20, 2018.
