While I’m certainly tiring of zombies in movies at this point, I’m definitely open to seeing more of the walking dead on the boob tube. I’ve always wanted to write an epic zombie apocalypse mini-series (I’m gettin’ to it, I’m gettin’ to it…), but while you guys wait eagerly for that, you’ll have DEAD SET to look forward to in the more immediate future.
The British t.v. series, which takes place in the “Big Brother” house (apparently, a big deal) will air in six installments. It’s described as 24 with zombies, where contestants of the show are unaware – at least initially – that the end of the world is happening just outside their walls….Sounds like a good idea, the place is already rigged with cameras, so it will have the “real time” effect they seem to be striving for. Let’s just hope we don’t have another DIARY OF THE DEAD on our hands…
