Bruckheimer’s Gemini Man

JoBloJoBlo

TROY remains one of my biggest disappointments of recent times, so ostensibly, it’s difficult to see Jerry Bruckheimer’s hiring of David Benioff to write the upcoming action piece GEMINI MAN as good news. But the thing is, I guess we have to welcome it, because TROY definitely had its moments, and saying Bruckheimer’s career has been punctuated by poor decisions is like saying Starcraft fanatics’ lives have been punctuated by sex with super models.

GEMINI MAN has been languishing in development trouble for a while, but it has now been announced that Benioff will pocket a tidy $2 million to write the action flick. The movie revolves around an over-the-hill hitman who has to do battle with a younger clone of himself. Benioff is working on THE KITE RUNNER and also the WOLVERINE spin-off movie.
