Bryan Cranston Mr. Sinister Banner

It was just a few days ago that Bryan Cranston said he'd love to play a "nasty" Marvel villain created for the big screen, but over the weekend at the New York Comic-Con, the actor revealed there's also a big comic book baddie he's interested in portraying: Mr. Sinister.

After Cranston asked the crowd at NYCC what they thought of him playing the X-Men supervillain, they reportedly "preceded to go wild." He went on to say that "It intrigues me to be able to play a character that hasn’t been on film before, so you can create it from the beginning." Mr. Sinister is a pretty powerful villain in the comics, and his abilities include telepathy, shapeshifting and superhuman strength and durability.

Personally I think Cranston is a little too old for Mr. Sinister, but a lot can be done with makeup and CGI, and obviously there are some people who would love it if he was cast as the movie version of the character. Do you think the actor would make a good Mr. Sinister, or do you have a different actor in mind for the role?

Bryan Cranston's new animated series SuperMansion premiered last week on Crackle, and his Dalton Trumbo biopic TRUMBO will be in theaters on November 6, 2016.
