It was just a few days ago that Bryan Cranston said he'd love to play a "nasty" Marvel villain created for the big screen, but over the weekend at the New York Comic-Con, the actor revealed there's also a big comic book baddie he's interested in portraying: Mr. Sinister.
After Cranston asked the crowd at NYCC what they thought of him playing the X-Men supervillain, they reportedly "preceded to go wild." He went on to say that "It intrigues me to be able to play a character that hasn’t been on film before, so you can create it from the beginning." Mr. Sinister is a pretty powerful villain in the comics, and his abilities include telepathy, shapeshifting and superhuman strength and durability.
Personally I think Cranston is a little too old for Mr. Sinister, but a lot can be done with makeup and CGI, and obviously there are some people who would love it if he was cast as the movie version of the character.
