A while back I told you about a little indie horror flick called BRYAN LOVES YOU, starring George Wendt (Norm!). Today we got word that BRYAN has wrapped production, and we were even hooked up with a few all new pics from the film!
Coolest part of all? It looks like Tony F*cking Todd aslo has a role in the film, along with Tiffany Shepis, Lloyd Kaufman, Brinke Stevens and Daniel Roebuck! Wow, top that with Norm and you have yourselves a cast! Nice! Produced by Landau Motion Pictures and writer/director/co-star Seth Landau, this flick is based on the weird true stories of cults in the Arizona area.
It’s been a while, so here’s a brief synopsis: A cult takes over an Arizona town. When cult members find people who don’t believe in Bryan, they set out to convert and if not, kill the non-believers. Shot in a “recovered-footage” style using first- and third-person POV and security camera angles on mini-DV, Hi-8, Digital 8, VHS and VHS-C formats; audiences will believe what they’re watching is real.
These behind the scene shots are pretty cool to say the least, and showcase Wendt, Todd and Kaufman in ways that scream ‘you should have been there’! And those masks… hella creepy.
While production just wrapped, they’re hoping to be completely finished with post production by June 2007, with a release date shortly thereafter. How’s it look? You tell me!
