Bryniarski talks Beginning

About.com had a little chat with Andrew Bryniarski at the LA premiere of SLITHER about (what else) TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING, or THE ORIGIN, as Bryniarski called it.

In the video interview (which also showed About.com having chats with Eli Roth, Sid Haig and other), Bryniarski tells the interviewer the usual things, like that it “feels amazing” to get back into the role of Leatherface, and that they finished principal filming back in December and are currently in post. With regards to what Bryniarski felt about New Line’s take on the backstory of Leatherface and whether it went with his ideas, Bryniarski agreed. “They really gave me a lot of latitude. [Director] Jonathan Liebesman, [producers] Brad Fuller, Andrew Form and Michael Bay from Platinum Dunes and Mike Fleiss [were] all very fabulous”.

Andrew also talked about the shoot, which was according to him, was “a fun, and very fulfilling filmmaking experience”. That said, it’s probably a no-brainer that Bryniarski loves the character and the enthusiasm that he showed during the interview and the previous film will be shown once again come October. I can’t wait, since it’s obvious that Bryniarski is to Leatherface what Kane Hodder is to Jason. To catch the stream for yourself, head on over here.
