In what’s spreading faster than fuc*in’ Twitter, STYD reports Joss Whedon’s highly anticipated scary movie THE CABIN IN THE WOODS is yet another in a long string of flicks to get down with the 3-D craze.
Not only that, well, actually because of that, MGM has pushed the release date for the film from February 5, 2010 all the way to January 14, 2011. Oh, that technology!
The details of the plot have been tightly sealed, as is normally the case with Whedon (who writes and produces the film) and his heightened popularity over the last handful of years. All we know is the movie will be a twisted and unusual take on the familiar “cabin in the woods” formula. Hmmm.
Directed by first timer Drew Goddard, CABIN IN THE WOODS stars Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Jessie Williams, Chris Hemsworth, Amy Acker (below), Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Tom Lenk, Chelah Horsdale, Fran Kranz and Brian J. White.
